Ingredients

DUCKCHAR Moulard Duck Leg Confit
DUCKCHAR Duck Bacon
Brioche bun
Kosher pickle slices
Avocado
Tomato, sliced
Thousand island sauce

Cooking Directions

Step 1 - Preheat an oven or pellet smoker to 400 degrees F.

Step 2 - Heat duck confit on baking sheet for about 30 minutes or until the skin is golden and crispy.

Step 3 - Simultaneously cook duck bacon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cook for about 20 minutes or until bacon is crispy enough for your taste.

Step 4 - After cooking, allow bacon and confit to cool slightly. Then shred confit with a fork.

Step 5 - Make the sandwich. Add lettuce to bottom bun and then add remaining toppings in this order: shredded confit, tomato, duck bacon, avocado, pickles, and sauce.
