Ingredients
2 tablespoons DUCKCHAR Duck Fat
Smoke Somethin’ Dry Rub & Seasoning
12 oz can chickpeas
Wash and remove chickpea shells
Step 1 - Wash chickpeas thoroughly. Dry on baking sheet lined with paper towels.
Step 2 - Remove shell from each chickpea.
Roast chickpeas
Step 3 - Heat duck fat over moderate heat in a cast iron skillet. Add chickpeas. Gently stir every five minutes as they cook.
Step 4 - After 20 minutes, season with Smoke Somethin’ to taste.
Step 5 - Once the duck fat roasted chickpeas turn golden and crispy, remove from heat.
Step 6 - Serve and enjoy!
