San Diego Eggfest

This past weekend, we headed south to the San Diego Eggfest organized by Hot Sauces 'n More. Check out their store if you're in SD or visit their online store anytime! They've got the goods!

It was our first time firing up a BGE in SD and it did not disappoint. The event was perfectly organized and there were plenty of great cook teams serving such a wide range of food that there was something for everybody. We're talking pastrami burgers to lump charcoal baked peach cobbler. 

It was our third Eggfest and we served up smoked DUCKCHAR until we ran out. The coolest past of these events is getting to share a new product with people who are passionate about BBQ. Actually, that's the second coolest part. If were being honest, the best thing is just walking from tent to tent and eating as much BBQ as the heart desires. If you still haven't been to an Eggfest, it's time to change that. We're hitting a few more this year and will post our schedule shortly in case you want to stop by and smoke some duck with us!
